Trade - Globalisation

Globalisation is a buzzword of the early 21st century. The term refers to the way in which global communications allow easy traffic of goods around the world (in itself, not new), combined with political developments that have sharply reduced trade barriers such as tariffs.

Opinions vary greatly on whether globalisation will fuel economies in developing countries, or result in the greater dominance of the developed world. The external links to the right give some differing views.
